As a technically skilled developer, I would like to have more control on the Git operations that Copado does behind the scenes. Can we use the Copado CLI for this?
As of today, from the release management team, we recommend to focus the efforts into the core Copado solution on Salesforce, ensuring a proper usage of it following the best practices, and avoid the usage of the Copado CLI. While using the Copado CLI is not banned, it's not recommended due to existing concerns about the way it works and the lack of support for it, additionally the complexity to provide help internally on it.
This decision can be reviewed in a future.
