Definition of the BFC Perimeter

A BFC perimeter is a group of companies managed in PF2, PI2 or WP2.

Some companies belong to Solvay, to Syensqo or may have been sold to another group.

The main BFC perimeters are:

  • Perimeter SOLVAY:
    • SOLP: Perimeter maintained in PF2/PI2
    • SOLW: Perimeter maintained in WP2
  • Perimeter SYENSQO:
    • SYEP: Perimeter maintained in PF2/PI2
    • SYEW: Perimeter maintained in WP2

You can display all existing BFC perimeters using the table ZZF_BFC_CONS_PER - BFC : consolidation perimeter >>

Display companies included in each BFC perimeter

Each BFC perimeter is a set of companies that can be displayed with GS03 - Display Set

  • The set of companies ZZF_BFC_BUKRS_SOLP & ZZF_BFC_BUKRS_SYEP are maintained in PF2 but can include companies managed in WP2
  • The set of companies ZZF_BFC_BUKRS_SOLW & ZZF_BFC_BUKRS_SYEW are maintained in WP2 but can include companies managed in PF2

Ex: the BFC Perimeter SOLP = Set of companies ZZF_BFC_BUKRS_SOLP can be displayed in PF1 with GS03 - Display Set

Companies 0001, 0005, 0007 etc belong to the BFC Perimeter SOLP = SOLVAY

Table ZZF_BFC_CONS_MGT

All companies not included in the BFC Perimeter SOLVAY (SOLP & SOLW) are included in the table ZZF_BFC_CONS_MGT with their conso method.

The table ZZF_BFC_CONS_MGT is used to determine the conso method of a company code in some programs instead of the Table ZZF_T001_MGT_V - Company codes (for instance for the scope Syensqo, the determination of the COPA movement type in WP2 is done using the table ZZF_BFC_CONS_MGT)
