GHS BR:determines the classification of the products and the labeling elements according to the Brazilian regulation. This information is displayed in section 2 of SDS.
Hazard Comp BR:determines the hazardous ingredients to be listed in section 3 + ingredients with OEL/BEI to be displayed in section 8.
Others Specificities
Section 3: the rule HazardComp BR (HC_BR) does not evaluate ingredients with OEL for section 3. However, if the rule HC_BR lists in section 8 an ingredient that is not listed in section 3, then the template automatically displays this ingredient in section 3, at the end of the table, with the phrase "WEL substance".
The ranges of concentration are displayed according to the following rules:
If there is a range of concentration in section 8, this range is displayed in section 3;
If there are no ranges of concentration in section 8 but an exact value, a rounding is made. Then:
for the lower value of the range: if the rounding is > 30, we take out 2 to the rounding exact value. If < 30, we take out 1. If the value is negative, we use 0.
for the upper value of the range: if the rounding is > 20, we add 3 to the rounding exact value. If < 20, we add 2. If the value is > 100, we display 100.
If there are no ranges nor exact value in section 8, the program that calculates the ranges for section 3 use the exact value from the standard composition.

Section 1: Must maintain the existing model of Latin America templates used by the existing generation variants. For this chapter there are no specificities provided for in the Colombian standard NTC-4045.
Section 2: The existing model of LATAM used by existing generation variants is adequate, but for SDS_CO it is necessary to describe the"appearance"of the product highlighted in this chapter, this information must be presented first "2.1".
Section 3: The LA model is maintained. There are no specifics.
Section 8: A little different from most of the templates used in Latin America, the Colombian standard determines that the OSHA and ACGIH OELs (TWA and STEL)be declared, when they exist. Just like the SDS_US template.
