Purpose
This position paper presents Syensqo’s strategic vision to harmonize its Transport Management (TM) landscape by consolidating multiple fragmented freight collaboration tools into a single, globally integrated solution—BN4L. The goal is to streamline operations, enhance carrier collaboration, and support Syensqo’s mission of advancing humanity through scientific breakthroughs and operational excellence.
Vision
The simplification of the multiple fragmented and not integrated freight tools to one Global integrated platform (BN4L).
Scope
The scope of this initiative covers the transition from several regional and mode-specific TM tools to one unified platform. Specifically, it includes:
- Replacing Transwide (Europe) with BN4L, providing global coverage for all transport modes.
- Upgrading BluJay to TMS4S, with a limited scope for road transport in the US and Canada.
- Expanding BN4L to cover carrier collaboration for ocean and air in the US and Canada, and to provide global coverage for all modes, including regions currently not integrated with any collaboration tool.
- Harmonizing middleware from four separate systems to a single middleware (CPI), simplifying integration and data management.
