Overview


A spotlight is a type of content that you can insert into page for promotional purposes. You can either have it on the right panel or in the central panel.

Step-by-step guide


 

Step 1: Reach the page

  1. By using the navigation, go to the page where you want to create and insert a new spotlight.

 

Step 2: Create and insert new spotlight

1. Activate XPM by clicking on the button.

 

 

 

In the ribbon toolbar, go to Home tab and click on Insert Content > Create and insert new Content.

 

 

2. Onclick, you will see a Spotlight sample component in the left panel.

 

Select xxx - Spotlight (according to your entity).

 

It is important to select the one that correspond to your Entity as the content will be pre-tag and correctly stored in your Entity folder.

3. Drag & Drop the spotlight to the place you want to display it.

4. A pop-in will appear.

 

Enter the title for the Spotlight in the "Content Title" field.

 

Click on Create and Insert Content button.

Step 3: Save

 
  1. To save your changes and publish in staging, click on Finish Editing button.

2. Consult your page.

 

Disactivate the "Edit mode" by clicking on the Dashboard tab and then click on Exit.

Your page is now available in "staging" environment.
