Overview

Thanks to Keepeek, it is possible to update a media without updating anything on Tridion side. 

If the updated version of the media do not have the same dimensions than the previous version or at least the same ratio, you will need to access the article(s) using it from the Staging, delete the previously used media, then re-insert it with the correct dimensions.

Steps:

  1. Access the Staging version of the page
  2. Get the media to update Identifier
  3. Access Keepeek 
  4. Search the media to update with its Identifier
  5. Open the media, then Renew the file with the new media version
  6. Back to the Staging, activate SDL Tridion (ie. "Edit mode")
  7. Republish the page (Staging, then Live)
