IRPC Public Co is operating its Styrene monomer (SM) plant at curtailed rates.
A Polymerupdate source in Thailand informed that the plant is currently running at around 80% of production capacity levels. The plant has resumed operations in early August 2013 following a maintenance and debottlenecking exercise.
The production capacity of the plant has been increased from 200,000 mt/year to 250,000 mt/year.
The plant is located in Rayong, near Map Ta Phut, Thailand.
