Overview


This article describes how to re-use an existing Corporate content (article / event / press release) in a "light" country site.

Step-by-step


 

Step 1: Create a page

1. Reach the page where you want to display your corporate content and activate Tridion

Example: to re-use an existing Corporate press release, go to your country news page.

 

2. Click on "Create new page" in home tab

A left navigation appears. Select Re-use editorial content and click on "Create" button.

3. Enter the page title / page name...

Page Title / File name

Use the same page name as the one used for corporate (corresponding to the end of the Corporate url).

Do not use any space or special characters.

... Then click on "Create page".

Step 2: Insert the content to re-use in the new page

1. Open the page in form view:

    1. Select the whole page by clicking anywhere in it, out of any component. A blue border appears all around the page.
    2. Click on open in form view

2. Insert the Component into to page:

 

    1. In the newly opened form
    2. In "Component presentation" tab, click on "Insert"
    3. Navigate through "Internet Coporate" folders to find the corporate content needed (see screen shot below)
    4. Select the Press release of your choice
    5. Choose "Central detail" component template.
    6. Press 'Insert', then 'Close'

 

3. Remove the "to be replaced" article from the page, then click on Save & Close to save your change. 
4. Switch the tool bar to "Manage", then "Publish", check the "Staging" option, then "Publish"
