In the integrated margin calculation program, there are 2 ways to determine the average freight & duties

  • Option 1 - The calculation is done in BW based on data coming from the application TIERS
  • Option 2 - With a table manually maintained and uploaded in BW  based on an estimation of the average freight & duties costs from one plant to another plant.

The aim of this page is to explain how to upload the manual table (option 2)

Average freight & duties can be determined: 

  1. With a table manually maintained and uploaded in BW
  2. Using a calculation done in BW based on data coming from the application TIERS





How to upload the the manual table in BW

Prepare the file to be uploaded

Prepare the data to be uploaded in WBP using the dedicated template:



Upload the file

Once everthing is ready, open WBP and enter the transaction ZBW_LOAD_ODS_PCP5 in the search bar and enter 

  1. Select the file to be uploaded.


When the excel file was chosen, the button preview and check file are available.

“Preview” show the file uploaded:



  • Click . If the file was well prepared, the message "Your file is OK and ready to be loaded in BW." is displayed.

  • If there was an error in the file, the list of errors are displayed with the description of the problem to be solved. 

  • When the file is ready to be loaded, click
  • When the loading is finished a message appears




Display the report in BW

Open the workbook BW_WBK_PL_0006 P&L Integrated Margin – Freight & Duties Costs Tab

Fill the prompt (at least the GBU and the period)

There are 2 sheets in the file:

  • Default Freight Cost - Table uploaded with transaction ZBW_LOAD_ODS_PCP5
  • Freight (TIERS) & Duties - Calculation done by BW based on TIERS (only when activated
