Development Opportunities - First Line Manager

INTRODUCTION

As a First Line Manager, you have developed your technical skills but may need to develop the skills required to manage others. The transition from Individual Contributor to First Line Manager can be challenging, because it requires a significant behavioral transformation.  You must be able to separate yourself from tasks in order to focus on managing others.

The emphasis of your development is on the basic functions of management : time and resource management, planning and assigning work, and motivating and assessing your employees.
