A Material is obsolete. How do I delete it from Picaso (that is, ADM).
Step-by-step guide
- First recommendation is: do not delete. Obsolete it.
- Change the search code to 900 on the material master.
- Insert OBS in the description
- Deleting inventory targets is ok and good thing to delete
- Change the production standards date expiration date before today's date.
You don't want to actually delete a material from Picaso because of all the links between tables.
You don't want to delete production standards because a run that still refers to it will make it impossible to save the schedule. In other words, you only can delete a production standard if you are absolutely sure it is not used by any run.
