General Description

The Contribution Changes Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of how different factors contribute to the Product Carbon Footprint of finished products over time. It enables users to analyze year-over-year changes in contributions, identify key drivers of emissions, and gain insights into the environmental impact of various production elements. The dashboard is designed to support data-driven decision-making for sustainability and process optimization.

Filters

At the top of the dashboard, users can refine their analysis using the following filters:

  • Finish Product: Select the specific finished product to analyze.
  • GBU: Filter data by business unit for targeted insights.
  • Site: Focus on data from a particular manufacturing site

Side Panels and Key Features

Left Panel (Product List):

    • Displays a ranked list of finished products with their 2024 contribution values.
    • Allows users to select a product and instantly update the central analysis panels.

Central Panel (Yearly Contribution Waterfall):

    • Visualizes the year-over-year changes in contribution for the selected finished product.
    • The waterfall chart shows the contribution values for each year, making it easy to track increases or decreases and understand trends over time.

Bottom Panel (Contribution by Sub Scope):

    • Breaks down the total contribution for the selected year (e.g., 2024) by sub-scope, such as raw materials, incinerated waste, upstream transport, landfill of non-hazardous waste, and internal transport.
    • Each sub-scope is color-coded and quantified, helping users quickly identify the main contributors to the product’s carbon footprint.

Legend:

    • Located next to the sub-scope chart, the legend clarifies the color coding for each contribution category (e.g., Internal Transport, Raw Materials, Raw Materials Transport, Waste).
