Process Safety Incident Classification Training - January 2025

More than 80 modules are now available as e-learning units on YouGrow.

That enables sites and GBUs to spread process safety training more widely through their organizations.

The modules in the Process Hazard Analysis training contain a total of 46 hours of lessons covering a range of subjects in Process Safety.
The modules cover the full range of all pre-training required for a Process Risk Analysis (PRA) Leader related to risk analysis approaches, methods and tools.

Training open to all

The training is open to everyone, beyond PRA leaders.
The idea is to encourage a broader audience than before. It is also about trust – if you need something, it’s there – you don’t need to ask a manager.

Typical positions which may most benefit from the training include:

  • PRA Leader candidates

  • Anyone who participates in risk analysis at plants or sites

  • Group Engineering and Construction (GEC) personnel including mechanical specialists, materials and corrosion experts, process engineers, and industrial automation and electricity experts

  • Process engineers and production managers

  • Any HSE specialists in plants such as occupational safety and environmental engineers

Specific modules recommended for different roles

The Process Hazard Analysis training file helps you selecting your menu by showing which modules are recommended for which profiles.
The PRA Leader Training column indicates what is to be used for the face-to-face training for PRA Leaders.

One major benefit of the e-learning modules is that they can be started, and paused, when required.

If people have questions, or need additional help on specific points, they can request one-on-one support.  See the Who's Who page to identify the appropriate contact.

Once your question is answered you can resume the training and complete the module.
