Overview

Remove a contact from a web site contact form. If you need to replace a contact with another one, you better should use the Web contacts management step-by-step to update the existing one, replacing it with a new email address.

Advanced level

This operation needs to use the "Tridion Content Manager" instead of the better known "Site Edit".

Steps

  1. Reach the web contact folder in Tridion Back Office in SW W1 xx-xx (depending on where you need to publish the content) and select the contact to delete

2. Click on Unpublish icon. A pop-in opens. Stick staging & Live & click on unpublish.

Your new / updated contact will no longer receive emails when a request will be sent on the contact form.

3. Reach the web contact folder in Tridion Back Office in SW C1 Master-XX (depending on where you need to update the content) and select the contact to delete.

Click on the cross to delete it.
