This article describes how to display a pdf viewer in a page.

Step-by-step
Step 1: Create a download | |

1. From the Staging site, reach the page where you want to display the PDF viewer and activate Tridion. | |
2. Click on Create and insert content to create a new download. 3. Select the download template and drag & drop it in central list. A pop-in appears. 4. Enter a component title (must be unique, short and significant. Used in the back office only).

5. Update the Download title 6. From your computer folder, rename the file if needed. Why to rename a file? Any file uploaded in Tridion must contain only a to z letters, digits and -. No special characters or spaces. 7. Drag'n drop the file from your computer to the newly displayed left pane. Wait until it appears (could take some time if your file is big) 8. Click on apply to select it. | |
Step 2: Display the download | |
1. Click on "Open in form view" to open the page. A pop-in opens. |

2. Go to the 2nd tab "Component presentation" and select the download you just created. 3. In the right side of the pop-in, change the component template and select central document. 4. Then click on save & close to save your change | |
3. Click on Finish editing to see your change & publish it in staging

| 4. The system reloads the page and displays the pdf viewer. | |
