Problem
After copy and paste elements directly from an external source to a Confluence page, pictures are not displayed.
This issue can occurs when the image has been pasted from specific sources, like emails or word document
There are 2 ways to solve it:
If the image has been pasted from an other confluence page:
Confluence will reference the images from that page. And if that page is restricted to viewing only by you, other people won't be able to see the images.
Solution 1: using attachment (recommanded)
- During editing, go to +> Files and images.
- Select the Upload files button.
- Select the file from your folder and confirm.
You can now select your image to insert it on your page
Solution 2: Using paint
- Copy your image with right click > copy
- Open
from windows, and paste your image in.
- Copy again your image from Paint, and Paste it to your Confluence page
