It’s the Organization of the Purchasing Division. The spend assignment rules (Click Click here) is based on this organization (objects : DSF/Material Group; DSF/Segment; DSF/Domain).

In RCS, Family = Material group. The material group is input in the material in RCS when creating material or in the P.R (Purchase Requisition) or in the Purchase Order if there is no material code

Purchasing Organisation
The purchasing organisation is built this way :
Purchasing Organisation = Domain + Zone
Ex : OA 3002 = Packaging Europe zone
But purchasing organization goes further than the DSF. It covers things which are not included in the DSF :
