Overview

 Add other professional as a related contact. ... First, create a business account for the contact (because every contact belongs to an account in Salesforce).

Step-By-Step

Before creating a contact, search it to avoid creating a duplicate! If a duplicate is created, the system will warn you if:

  • the email address is the same than an existing contact
  • the name + first name are similar to an existing contact

If the Contact does not exist, it is recommended to create it from the account page

STEP 1

 

❑ Add Account Contacts

1- In Tabs => Click on  “Accounts”

2- In View Menus => Select “My Accounts”

3- In  ListViews => Click on “Supplier name” A R WILFLEY AND SONS

STEP 2

If the Contact does not exist, it is recommended to create it from the account page

Scroll down to find the "Related Contacts" and click on the button "New  contact“


 

 

STEP 3 

❑ Contact Information


Account Name is automatically fill in this square” A R WILFLEY AND SONS”
1- Fill First Name   “ Christian”, Last Name” BEYER”

2- In types select "available" you want to put in "chosen" example :Manager “Click the arrow add
3- Fill Phone, Mobile, fax,  Email ” cbeyer@cranecpe.com”

❑ Address Information
 

4- Fill all information you have ” Mailing Street, Mailing City, Mailing State/Province, Mailing Zip/Postal Code, Mailing Country"

5- Click on Save

 

 

 

 

 

Verify, if I added the Contact

 

STEP 4


After saving, I return automatically on " Tabs  Contact" with the name of the contact that you  added
 
I verify, if I added well the Contact to my Account “A R WILFLEY AND SONS

 
  • Click on Account, In View Menus => Select “My Accounts, In  ListViews => Click on “Supplier name” A R WILFLEY AND SONS

 
  • Scroll down to find the "Related Contacts“ I verify, I added well “Mr Christian BEYER”

 

 

 

Related contacts

 

An Account can have only one contact with the same name, the same email address.

If you want to add one contact existing to other account => you must use "add relationship

STEP 5


Select you Account, Scroll down to find the "Related Contacts



Click on «Add Relationship»

1- Fill  part of the name “Click on the magnificer  at the right of the "User" Field.

2-  Click on « contact name you  want to add »

3- Click Save
