Japan’s Mitsubishi Rayon Co (MRC) early this restarted its 60,000 tonne/year polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) plant in China's Jiangsu province month after a turnaround, a company source said on Thursday.
The unit was taken offline earlier in September for maintenance, the source said.
Other PMMA manufacturers in Asia include South Korea’s LG MMA, Japan’s Sumitomo Chemical, France’s Arkema and Taiwan’s Chi Mei.
