Overview



Who: GBU Data Steward

What: Create, Change, Delete a Corporate Group in CRM and assign Accounts to this Corporate group.

Step-by-step


 

I. Corporate Group Creation - via CRM

  • In account tab, click on button New to Create a new Account.

  • Select Record Type : Corporate Group and click on button Next.

  • Enter Account name ( 60 characters maximum)
  • Corporate Group must meat the 5 criteria
  • Input the creation reason
  • click on SAVE

  • Corporate Group request is created and locked until Approval from Corporate Marketing & Sales

  • Corporate Marketing & Sales approver will always exchange with the requester before decision via Chatter feed.

  • When the new Corporate Group is approved, it can be used for Account assignment.
  • The new corporate Group will be created by APDM team within one or 2 weeks in other systems and available reporting.

II. Corporate Group Update / Delete - via Freshdesk

*Prior to requesting the deletion of a Corporate Group, make sure that there is no remaining accounts linked to it, and if so, change the assignment of the accounts to the right Corporate group.
  • Go to Need Help to request a Corporate group modification

  • In Subject, describe briefly your request
  • Select process Data Management
  • Select Application - Not applicable

  • select your GBU
  • In field Description add all details of your request and attach a file if needed
  • choose the Priority and Submit

  • APDM team will handle changes with CRM team and inform you when completed.

III. Corporate Group mass update request - via Freshdesk.

*Attention : only GBU Data Steward and Corporate Marketing & Sales can initiate the mass request for Creation, update or deletion of corporate groups. Other users must contact their GBU Data steward .
  • Go to Need Help to request any Corporate group update

  • In Subject, describe briefly your request
  • Select process Data management
  • Select Application -Not applicable

  • select your GBU
  • In field Description explain with more details your request and attach the template with all changes required
  • choose the Priority and Submit

  • APDM team will handle changes with CRM team and inform requester when completed.

IV. Customer assignment to Corporate Group (Creation/ Update) - via CRM

  • Users can assign or change assignment to Corporate Group in CRM (only approved ones).
  • GBU Data stewards Approve/Reject the assignmt requests in CRM.
  • A weekly report with list of approved assignments is sent autamatically to APDM Team for update in GBR/PRS to make the links available also for Sales Reporting and dashboards.

V. Customer assignment to Corporate Group (mass update) - via Freshdesk

*Attention : only GBU Data Steward and Corporate Marketing & Sales can initiate the mass requests for account assignments to Corporate Group .Other users must contact their GBU Data steward .

  • Go to Need Help to request any Corporate group update

  • In Subject, describe briefly and clearly your request
  • Select process Data management
  • Select Application -Not applicable

  • select your GBU
  • In field Description explain with more details your request and attach the template with all changes required
  • choose the Priority and Submit

  • APDM team will handle changes with CRM team and inform requester when completed.
