Purpose of this query

  1. To allow BW users to view the stock quantity and value at material & batch levels.
  2. To allow BW users to view the stock quantity and value based on the difference in days between the Key Date specified by users in the query selection against the following dates:
    • Batch Manufactured Date
    • Batch Explry Date
    • Batch Last Goods Issued Date
    • Batch Last Goods Receipt Date

Selection Screen

Example:

  1. Assuming now we are in May 2012 (05.2012). But we want to see the report for Rhodia Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (6062) as of 15th April 2012 (15.04.2012).
  2. To achieve this, first we need to enter 6062 in the mandatory selection Company Code (Selection Option, Mandatory). You are allowed to enter multiple values in this selection if you wish to view multiple Companies in the same report.
  3. Next we need to enter 04.2012 in the selection Calendar Year/Month (Single Value, Mandatory). Only one single value is allowed.
  4. Next we need to enter 15.04.2012 in the selection Calendar Day (Single Value, Mandatory). Only one single value is allowed.
  5. Then click on the button OK to continue.

Refers to the quatity of the material that the final price is based on. It is normally in thousands (1,000).

Stock Quantity

Refers to the quatity of the material.

Stock Value

Refers to the value of the material. It is calculated using the following formula:
= ( Final Price / Base Quantity for Price ) * Stock Quantity

Refers to the value that is stored in the attribute Batch Expiry Date (C_EXPIRDT) of the Batch master data (C_BATCH).

Batch Last GR Date
(D)

Refers to the value that is stored in the attribute Last GR Date (C_LGRDATE) of the Batch master data (C_BATCH).

Batch Last GI Date
(E)

Refers to the value that is stored in the attribute Date of Last Issue (C_DOLI) of the Batch master data (C_BATCH).

(A) - (B)

This is a formula to calculate the difference in the number of days between the Key Date (Calendar Day) (A) and Batch Manufacture Date (B):
= Key Date (Calendar Day) (A) - Batch Manufacture Date (B)

(A) - (C)

This is a formula to calculate the difference in the number of days between the Key Date (Calendar Day) (A) and Batch Expiry Date (C):
= Key Date (Calendar Day) (A) - Batch Expiry Date (C)
Note: This value of this field can be negative because the Batch Expiry Date (C) can be later than the user specified Key Date (Calendar Day) (A).

(A) - (D)

This is a formula to calculate the difference in the number of days between the Key Date (Calendar Day) (A) and Batch Last GR Date (D):
= Key Date (Calendar Day) (A) - Batch Last GR Date (D)
Note: This value of this field can be negative because the Batch Last GR Date (D) can be later than the user specified Key Date (Calendar Day) (A).

(A) - (E)

This is a formula to calculate the difference in the number of days between the Key Date (Calendar Day) (A) and Batch Last GI Date (E):
= Key Date (Calendar Day) (A) - Batch Last GI Date (E)
Note: This value of this field can be negative because the Batch Last GI Date (E) can be later than the user specified Key Date (Calendar Day) (A).

Qty 0-30 Days

This field shows the material & batch stock quantity whose difference between the Key Date (A) and each of the 4 individual
Batch Related Dates (B, C, D, E) are greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to 30 Days.

Qty 31-60 Days

This field shows the material & batch stock quantity whose difference between the Key Date (A) and each of the 4 individual
Batch Related Dates (B, C, D, E) are greater than or equal to 31 and less than or equal to 60 Days.

Qty 61-90 Days

This field shows the material & batch stock quantity whose difference between the Key Date (A) and each of the 4 individual
Batch Related Dates (B, C, D, E) are greater than or equal to 61 and less than or equal to 90 Days.

Qty 91-120 Days

This field shows the material & batch stock quantity whose difference between the Key Date (A) and each of the 4 individual
Batch Related Dates (B, C, D, E) are greater than or equal to 91 and less than or equal to 120 Days.

Qty 121-150 Days

This field shows the material & batch stock quantity whose difference between the Key Date (A) and each of the 4 individual
Batch Related Dates (B, C, D, E) are greater than or equal to 121 and less than or equal to 150 Days.

Qty 151-180 Days

This field shows the material & batch stock quantity whose difference between the Key Date (A) and each of the 4 individual
Batch Related Dates (B, C, D, E) are greater than or equal to 151 and less than or equal to 180 Days.

Qty 181-365 Days

This field shows the material & batch stock quantity whose difference between the Key Date (A) and each of the 4 individual
Batch Related Dates (B, C, D, E) are greater than or equal to 181 and less than or equal to 365 Days.

This field shows the material & batch stock quantity whose difference between the Key Date (A) and each of the 4 individual
