Introduction

Program: Z_COPY_QRY is used to copy queries from Production (WBP) to Development system (WBD), mainly to align the BW queries in WBD with Production (WBP) queries , alignment of queries in both systems is mandatory to enhance existing queries and move them to production.

Pre-Requisite

Authorization to  run this program is hard coded with in this program.  Your SAP USER ID is need to be added in with in this program to be able to run.


How to Run :

Program is saved in WBD.

GOTO TCODE  : SE38  and enter Z_COPY_QRY (program name) and execute it by clicking F8 button.

Once it is executed with F8 , Below  screen will be displayed asking you to enter query name to be copied and source system of query.  Do not forge to select Update Query under Processing Mode.

Click on 'YES'


After its execution  message will be displayed  with the copy query name in WBD.

If you are facing an issue to  collect query with in Transport Request  with type of request error than you need to change the type from "Unclassified" to "Development".


 (warning) Need to be careful that copy queries can generate duplicate objects on CKF and RKF. 

It can cause more time to delete the duplicate KF, otherwise the transport will be error.
