Roles and responsabilities

Reporting Process Support (RPS)

The Reporting Process Support (RPS) is part of the Delivert Team and his role/responsabilities are to :

  • Provide advanced support on reporting solutions to users in the zone; animate and follow-up, in a proactive manner, action plans to ensure reporting solutions are used in a extensive and proper way. (governance)
  • Provide advanced support on reporting solutions aligned with the limitation of know how / skills (BO, BW, Qlikview, etc
  • Sustain and reinforce reporting application usage in the zone – transversal, all tools, all solutions, all streams.
  • Implement and/or optimize reporting “new” applications for the zone and organize, with help of local process supports, the roll-out of initiatives pushed by Global Functions via Reporting Experts and Process Experts – transversal, all tools, all solutions, all streams.
  • Ensure good level of Data Administration for reporting in the Zone – increase quality and trust in data – transversal, all tools, all solutions, all streams.

Reporting Competence Center (CC)

The role and responsabilities of the Reporting Competence Center (CC), part of the Techno Stream are :

  • All backend developments:
    Universes/Cubes
    Interfaces with other applications
    Database modeling
    Management of ETL (extraction, transformation, load) processes
  • Creation and maintenance of complex reports
  • Core queries maintenance and publication
  • Support to Reporting PS on report edition and complex troubleshooting
  • Promotion of best practices on developments
  • Decision on tools and architecture to be applied for reporting

Reporting Process Experts (RPE)

The reporting Process Experts (which are part of the Streams) have the role/responsabilities to :

  • Manage reporting tasks included in projects
  • Lead functional specification tasks
  • Coordinate report development in recurrent mode (maintenance)
  • Validate requests regarding reports : relationship with DSI and others requestors
  • Relationship with DPL for functional validation
  • Coordinate deployment and rollout
  • Relationship with DSI and GBU :
    Governance
    Process optimization and best practices
    To identify requirements and needs
    Promotion and reuse of existing core reports
    Follow up usage KPI

Domain Process Leaders (DPL)

Their role is to :

  • Ensure reporting needs will be directed towards Reporting Leaders (not only BO+BW)
  • Collaborate on functional specification
  • Collaborate to clarify requirements during technical specification process
  • Collaborate on Functional validation for reports
  • Collaborate on deployment and rollout, if needed.
