Create BookMark

Qlik Sense has the same function like QlikView (if you are already one of the user) which you can save your selections for future use. Look out for  icon to begin the creation of "BookMark".

Before clicking on , be sure you have all selections you need for your analysis so that the next time when you recall the "BookMark" it will give you the up-to-date result. You will see an empty box similar to below after clicking on  when it is the first time you create a "BookMark".

Now click on , it will then prompt to give the "BookMark" a name (for future recalling purpose) and a short description (if required) which is optional.

Once you are done with the "BookMark" Title and "Description, click on  again to "save". To check if your new created "BookMark" is saved, you can click on  once again, you will see under "My bookmark" your newly created "BookMark" name will appear with the creation date. When you need to recall this "BookMark" on the next connection, simply click on  then click on the "BookMark" name, you will then have the up-to-date result. There is no manual update or refresh required.

For the current version of QlikSense, creation of BookMarks will only work on all pages except for "My Table" page. As long as it is a blank page which allows user to have flexibility to customise their preference reports, contents (dimensions and measures) selected in the table will not be "saved" when creating a BookMark.
