Demand and planning is a multifaceted process that plays a key role in the efficient functioning of a supply chain. It helps organizations align their supply with customer demand, optimize their operations, and ultimately improve customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.
The BW DP-DiP/PP-Dynasys application regroups all the reports that are based on DynaSys tool (Demand & Distribution Planning). More particularly, they support :

- DP - Forecast Accuracy
- DP - MTP Mid Term Planning
- DiP - Distribution Planning DP - MTP

This report is generally used by demand & production planning, S&OP managers and supply chain.

Application Feature Overview
There are currently five queries in total used within this application. Three which are currently actively used and two which are obsolete. Below is a high level description of these applications.

OBSOLETE => BW - DP - Demand Review (Core query)
This report is replaced by BW - DP - Budget Review (Core query). This report is not maintained anymore and will be decommissioned by 02.2023. A procedure to migrate existing workbooks from Demand Review to Budget Review (Core query) is being writing.
OBSOLETE => BW - DP - Segmentation Report (Core Query)
This report was put in place for GBU Performance Polyamides, who has left Solvay group since. This report is obsolete and will be decommissioned by S2.2023
Access
Access to the application in the WBP Server is provided by GBU.
You must request to add "DP-DiP/PP-Dynasys" role (Service one => SAP Access Request)
Perimeter
This application in WBP covers the data from all GBU managing their forecast in DynaSys.
It does not include other Forecasting systems not mentioned above.
Data update
DynaSys data is updated 4 times a day (see the scheduled times here below) but ONLY after a change on DynaSys data. If not change is registered in DynaSys, do not expect any BW update

For example :
Data are collected in DynSys at 6am CET. The corresponding data are loaded into BW at 7am CET.
The BW loading last around 30 minutes. So at 7.30 you will get in BW, the view of 6am DynaSys data
NB: You can be alert by email when the BW load is fully done (Service One => catalogue>Data services>Reporting and Dashboarding>Reporting Tools>Change distribution lists for BW update message.
