Objective of the application

CBS stands for 'C rporate B siness S rvices'

CBS is a dedicated Reporting tool built on SAP BW module, reporting Functions fixed costs and Project costs.

CBS s part of the Controlling application Info Area AREA_F_CO in BW)
The first module of CBS for Functions costs is in the sub area AREA_F_FUNCT0 CBS - Fixed costs Analysis. The second module for Project costs in in the sub area AREA_F_CO_CBS_PS CBS - WBS Cost Analysis

To access CBS queries, users need to have access to CBS Applications (Functions and/or Projects) with the role menu ZR_RCS_CA_M23 and the role of the application (* nd, key user or AMTS*)

Authorisation objects

For Functions costs providers, the authorisation objects are the functions and * ompany*.
For Projects costs providers, the authorisation objects are the family and * ompany*.

Master data management

In the beginning of the project, we discovered that some objects may have same values but can be totally different in the ERP systems.

Ex: for company code:
6068 is referring to Rhodia UK in Rhodia’s ERP but in Solvay’s ERP it refers to Polyera Corp.

To avoid issues in the data, we decided to create new info objects with the system ID in the key 0LOGSYS.

We have created a new catalog IOCC_MD_ID in the info objects where we will store the info objects with the System ID in key

In the Excel files attached Function cost reporting referential.xls nd PS PEC reporting referential.xls ou will find a list of all objects included in:

  • Data Sources used for master datas, texts, DSO
  • DSO
  • Cube
  • Multi providers

There are also details of routines (in start routine or in the rules) used.

Loading frequency

CBS is loaded every working day tarting at 0:00 am (Paris time) and finishing around * :00 am (Paris time)*

BW and ERP systems

  • WBD (BW Development) is linked to WQ1 (RCS Quality), SI1 (CICC Simulation), SF1 (Solvay Simulation), TST (Acetow Test) and RIM (Rhodia SA Recette)
  • WBD (BW Development) is linked to WV1 (RCS Pre-Production), SI1 (CICC Simulation), SF1 (Solvay Simulation) and SPW (Acetow Sand Box)
  • WBP (BW Production) is linked to WP1 (RCS Production), PI1 (CICC Production), PF1 (Solvay Production), RHO (Acetow Production) and PIM (Rhodia SA Production)
