Cost object



Data Business Definition


A cost object can be used to analyze target costs, actual costs, and variances in situations where costs are not collected at the level of orders or materials.

The cost object hierarchy is created by one or more cost object nodes for each level of the hierarchy at which you want to collect actual costs. Applied only to finished or semi-finished goods Manufactured in PF1.
