Data Business Definition
A Plant Asset Hierachy is a physical or logical tree based on digital business objects (foundation & repository) defined per business domains (Operation, Product, Value chain). It can include physical business objects (utility asset, production asset) or virtual business objects (group of assets). A Plant asset primary hierarchy has to be design first to model the physical plant organization. Based on this first hierarchy, other “Asset View” (Hierarchy) can be built to support “business fonctions” : Engineering, Performance, Maintenance, planning, Energy …… Each object has its own Data structure (Functional & Physical).
