Business Term Definition
A company code is the smallest organizational unit for which a complete, self-contained set of accounts can be drawn up for external reporting purposes. It represents an independent legal accounting entity.
Each company code has its own balance sheet and profit & loss statement, and it is used to manage and report financial transactions
