Business Term Definition
The characteristic Origin Plant comes from the posting COPA. It corresponds to the QM characteristic Origin Plant.
It is relevant in the sales statistics and for all the stocks of materials exchanged between locations of the Group, and indicates the plant where the material was originally produced. For the stocks of materials exchanged between locations, it is used to calculate the interco margins (important for the corporate financial consolidation).
