Introduction
Client reports that their connection list in BAAN is broken - incomplete, empty or connection do not work. Normally, there should be 4 connections available, as shown below:
Resolution
The following steps can be tried to resolve client's issue:
- Confirm that user is logging on correctly, and have set up the correct settings as explained here.
- Check that all entries are correct and have the correct settings set up. Right-click on each of them and confirm settings:
- Application Server tab for Production BAAN:
- Hostname: facprd03
- BSE: see below
(For Taiwan, if needed, as the same BSE setting as US)- Protocol: Rexec
- Portnumber: 512
- Application Server tab for Test-Development BAAN
- Hostname / BSE: see below
- Bshell Environment tab:
- Bshell name: bshell
- NLS tab:
- Locale: International (ISO)
- If any of the required entries are missing, click on New button and create new using the settings from previous step.
