Lotte Chemical continues to keep its Styrene monomer (SM) plant off-stream. A Polymerupdate source in South Korea informed that the plant was scheduled to restart over last weekend. However, owing to technical problems the restart has been delayed. The plant was shut on June 10 due to technical issues.
Located in Daesan, South Korea, the plant has a production capacity of 560,000 mt/year.
