In order to give the Destination View, COSTA BW query works with Matrix behind, based on SAP movements. It traces all movements from the first object posting (Origin) until the last object allocation and consequent Destination allocation (P&L; Capex; Billing, etc...).
Destination view is the combination of 3 tables:
Allocation Matrix - Works to identify Final object and calculate the split of allocations, when there is one or several allocations from Origin object to Final object
Responsible Cost center (or other object) = Initial Object / Destination Pivot Object = Final Object
Pivot Matrix - Works to identify the type of Destination and calculate the split of final allocation, it works when Object is categorized as final (1)
Destination Pivot Object = Final Object / Destination Type & Destination - Magnitude Account = Destination
Destination Matrix - Combining the above two Matrix data, allows to show directly from Origin object the split and final destination
Responsible Cost center (or other object) = Initial Object / Destination Type & Destination - Magnitude Account = Destination
