  • Given the current and rapidly evolving regulatory context, Sibur and Solvay need to work together to facilitate a quick internalisation by Sibur of all IT services and support currently provided by Solvay. The purpose of this project is to provide the buyer with a copy of PF1-020 containing only Rusvinyl data but functioning as a stand alone system without the link with other applications such has PF1-050, SRM7, ...
  • Solvay will be compliant with the new EU regulations concerning the exchange with Russia and conform to the agreement signed with the buyer

Roadmap & Key objectives

Roadmap

  • Solvay will extract RVL perimeter (configuration & data) from the SAP PF1 environment and transfer it into a dedicated SAP shell. Solvay has contracted an external provider (SNP) to perform the work.  Initial discussions have already started.


  • RVL data will continue to be hosted with Solvay hosting provider (AWS) until their actual transfer to Sibur


  • Sibur / RVL will develop a new empty SAP environment into which the RVL data will be transferred.  Sibur shall contract his own provider to host these data. The integration of transferred data into the Sibur/RVL empty SAP box can be supported by the same provider of Solvay (SNP) to increase speed and efficiency (to be confirmed)


  • As soon as the SAP environment is ready, the transfer of Data will take place. 


  • Data shall include (i) SAP configuration and customization architecture, (ii) master data, to the extent available in SAP PF1 and not archived and (iii) operational data (open documents and historical documents, to the extent available in SAP PF1 and not archived). No reporting data will be transferred.

This initiative is proposed because Solvay M&A Corporate is finalising the sale of Rusvinyl and a standalone system (copy of PF1-020) is part of the agreement. If not done we will put at risk the deal and Solvay will be subjected to sanctions foreseen in the new EU regulation concerning the exchanges between EU and Russia.
