Solvay Inventory report
Objective of this report
It is a stock report based on an extractor with the same structure as the ERP report t-code: Z1K_STOCKS. It gets the values of inventories at the end of each accounting period for all materials at the level of PIF/plant/ material. It also gets the flows explaining the variations of values in inventories between the beginning inventory and the ending inventory, as:
- Sales
- Productions
- Others movements
- Stock in transit (postings on GL account : 2020000000)
This report has only material / plant that configure ML (Material Ledger) activated. You can check it in MM03 at accounting 1 view. Actually, if ML act is not mark in view accounting 1, this means the ML is not activated (indeed ML is activated at plant level). For instance material 149792 in plant 8HEN the field "ML act" is not marked.
The ML is activated for manufacturing plants.
The ML is used for materials valuated at standard price (semi-finished and finished manufactured goods); therefore, during the month-end closing, the ML allows the recalculation of the actual price (versus standard price) and make the reevaluation of the stock at actual price.
Basically; for trading companies(like company code 5876), it does not make sense to get the ML activated, as all materials are valuated at moving average price (and not standard price).
Schedule of Loading data
on the 3th working day to 7th working data at 1 am daily of each month and it would take 15 hours for loading.

Note: In the ERP report Z1K_STOCKS : it has option to flag or not to select field “quantities in 100% - VKG/KG” while in BW, we provide 2 queries
