ACN line planned to be shut by FPC

Formosa Plastics Corp (FPC) is likely to shut one of two acrylonitrile (ACN) lines at its Mailiao plant. A Polymerupdate source in Taiwan informed that the line is planned to be shut in end-September 2014. It is likely to remain off-stream for around one month.

Located in Mailiao, Taiwan, the plant comprises two lines with a combined capacity of 140,000 mt/year.
