Questions:

The default width / height of images inserted in rich text is 224px maximum.

If the original image stored in Keepeek have a bigger size, you can improve this default width. Just press the "Advanced" button in the "Insert image" window and grow the value (ensure the "Proportion" option is thicked).

The image will be degraded in Edit mode, but continue your edition, click on finish editing and you will see in staging that your image has now a better resolution.

Explanation: the Edit mode works with low quality of illustrations to speed-up the interface. But if you improve the size, the staging (and Live) is asking to Keepeek a better sized image.

Note: To access this "Insert image" window from an ever added image, you must select the image (click beside, then highlight it), then press "Insert" > "Image", as if you wanted to insert a new image. Only the image have to be selected (nor space, nor any other character).

1) Only the media with the "publish" status are usable. The images with another status (pending, obsolete, ...) cannot be used not in Tridion nor anywhere else.

See how to change a "pending" status to "published", in the following Keepeek documentation: Media status (the status of media within the classification plan)

Different status of media in Keepeek

2) If the concerned Keepeek folder contains more than 20 published media, the next ones can be reached by moving to the next page:

Was the publishing correctly launched?

The publishing is a necessary step to push an update on a Staging or Live website.

In staging, it is automatically launched while pressing the "FInish editing" button.

In Live, or in Staging if you used "Open in form view", you manually ask for publishing. To do this:

  1. Ensure you have reached the Master version of your content ("Change language" on top right, then "EN", if available. If not, you ever are on the Master version)
  2. Right click on your page, out of any content (no content must be bordered)
  3. Choose "Publish" in the displayed menu
  4. Thick "Staging" or "Live"
  5. Go the the "Advanced tab", then select "Also Publish/Unpublish in Child Publications"
  6. Press "Publish"

Was the publishing successfully done? (check the publishing queue)

You asked for publishing your content, but maybe there are a lot of other content in the publishing queue and your content is going to be treated soon. To view the publishing queue, go to the "Manage" ribbon toolbar, then press "Publishing queue". Then press "Show tasks" to display the list of items you asked for publishing. Is everything having the "Success" status?

If some "Waiting for..." or "Rendering" appears, just wait a bit more, it is going to be treated.

If some error appears, you should contact the Support.
